One of our goals at TABI is to equally support members who are new Tarot readers as well as members who are more experienced and looking to expand their horizons. One way we do this is through our Training courses.
We offer members two Training courses: Beginners’ Training and Intermediate Training. Both are taught online, via Zoom, and there is a gentle progression through each topic discussed. Both courses are offered twice a year.
When you register for a Training course, you will be given access to the materials for whichever course you choose. The Beginners’ Course follows Joan Bunning’s Learning the Tarot: A Tarot Book for Beginners, and the Intermediate course uses a bespoke manual. The weekly lessons on Zoom are presented by experienced members of TABI who specialise in the topic, and there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get feedback.
When you have successfully complete the Beginners and/or Intermediate course, you will receive a certificate from TABI.
Not sure which one to choose?
If you’re not sure which course is for you, have a look at the units listed below for each one. Even if you have quite a bit of experience under your belt, you might like to start with the Beginner Training for a refresh, or, for example, to get some new tips on reading Court Cards. Ultimately the choice is up to you.
The Training courses are very popular, and we limit the number of places on each one so that everyone can take part in discussions and questions as much as they wish. The places fill quickly! If you plan to register for a course as soon as you join TABI, please get in touch with the Training Co-ordinator to check when there will next be spaces available. If there are no places available immediately, you can join the waiting list.

Build on the basics and dive into Astrology, reading styles, Qabalah, and reading with different decks

This is one-on-one training in giving readings to a client. When you successfully complete the course, you can choose to become a Free Reader with TABI.
