Which card would you choose to describe yourself, and why? (If it is
deck-specific, which deck would it be from?)

Queen of Swords. I used the Page of Swords significator for as far back as I can remember, and then after marriage, switched to the Queen of Swords. =)

When, how, and why did you start to use the tarot?

When I was a tween, a friend gifted me a tarot deck and I’ve had a lifelong interest in the tarot ever since. Back then it was to read fortunes for all my friends at school and summer camp. These days the tarot is a book of wisdom that I enjoy reading.

Please give a short bio of yourself. You could include family, hobbies, work, pets, achievements, favourite food/movie/music, tarot… whatever you think is good to know about you!

I’m a Taiwanese American who enjoys studying the metaphysical and mystical. I’m the author of Holistic Tarot (2015) and The Tao of Craft: Fu Talismans in the Eastern Esoteric Traditions (2016) both published by North Atlantic Books.

Please give a short summary of what you are going to speak about at TABI’s Online Conference!

TAROT FOR THE MODERN MYSTIC presents a holistic approach to using the tarot to induce direct experiences with the sacred. What does it mean to be a modern mystic? What are specific techniques and reading methods you can implement right now to receive direct downloads from the divine superconsciousness? Shift your tarot reading perspective for a more , bird’s eye view of any situation. I’ll also be sharing lifestyle tips for cultivating the practices of a modern mystic tarot reader.
