When, how, and why did you start to use the tarot?
I was given a deck when I was 14 by my buddy Steve. We started reading together and it was like I learned a new language. I loved it from the start.
Please give a short bio of yourself. You could include family, hobbies, work, pets, achievements, favourite food/movie/music, tarot… whatever you think is good to know about you!
Here’s my official bio: Melissa Cynova (she/her) has been slinging tarot cards for 30 years. Her first book, Kitchen Table Tarot won the Independent Publishing Award for Best First Book and two COVR awards. In Fall 2020, she’ll release Navigating the Scorpio Sea, a deck with art by Maggie Stiefvater, as well as Kitchen Table Magic – a book about tapping into the magic that you already carry. She lives in St. Louis with her delightful husband Joe, two kids, two dogs, four black cats and a tortoise. In her non-tarot-time she watches superhero movies and reads all of the books.
