Nicci Garaicoa is a published author, oracle deck creator, who created the Moon Goddess Academy, which is a subscription platform where you can access moon rituals, meditations, workshops, and connect to a community of like-minded individuals. She has a particular emphasis on female empowerment through exploration of archetypal female goddesses and their stories from around the world. You may recognise this diary as she published an edition in 2026. Olivia Burki is a freelance Swiss illustrator based in Spain, who works with digital and traditional drawing media. She produced the soft, watery artwork throughout the 2027 Moon Goddess Diary and previously illustrated Finding Inner Peace Inspiration cards for Rockpool. Her style is uplifting, colourful and feminine.

The diary has opening and closing rituals for 2027. Each season has a few pages dedicated for you to set your intentions using specific headings and prompts. ‘Creative Heart Expression’ asks you to write down ‘what it would feel like to create just for the joy of it?’, while ‘Colour Therapy’ asks you to select a colour for the season and write how you would embody, wear and bring it into the world. I like these prompts as they are more about how you want to feel and be in the coming year, rather than what goals and tasks you need to get done. It is also nice to have a quarterly check in with yourself and reset your energy for the change in weather and mood for whatever season is coming in.
I think this diary is mostly designed for women, or those who want to focus on developing aspects of their femininity, whatever that means to you. A range of genders could use the diary if they have an interest in understanding lunar cycles and tapping into their inner goddess.

The diary is A5, with a waxy, flexible cover, and is bound with a ribbon. It doesn’t open flat or have notes pages, or a calendar overview. A week is spread across a double page, so there is room to write more than the 2027 Witch’s Diary (which I also reviewed for the TABI blog). There are mini moon messages on most days, which give an indication of how the moon cycles may affect your mood and provide affirmations or small rituals to support you. Monday 9th of August – “Feeling a little out of sorts today? You are not alone – it is moon wobble day. The celestial moment, halfway between eclipses, can stir emotional tides and leave things feeling a bit…wavy. You may feel off balance, extra-sensitive or caught in loops of old thoughts. Don’t force clarity today. Instead, slip into comfort…” This is a nice bit of motivation to set aside time for yourself throughout the week, giving you an insight into any changes in your emotions and connecting that to the moon or astrological placements. Some of these comments are a tad long, and sometimes there is not much space left for your appointments or task list, so that is something to bear in mind.

Similar to the format of the 2027 Witch’s Diary, each month opens with an illustration and description of a Moon Goddess. July is the Goddess of Fish, and opening with the keyword ‘Plenty’ a story unfolds about the energy this Goddess brings to this month, including a mantra and any crystals that may assist you – “she loves citrine for prosperity, turquoise for truth and pearls for wisdom’. There is an over saturation of Goddess material in the spiritual arena right now, so I enjoyed the different types of Goddesses chosen – those of the reef, seagrass, turtles and tides, all of which are influenced by the evening glow of the moon.

2027 Moon Goddess Diary artwork, prompts and text has a soft, feel good energy for those of you who want just gentle reminders to look after yourself, and guidance on how to do this by following the influence of the moon and the seasons. Tarot and oracle readers could use it along with a moon based tarot or oracle deck to write down your card of the day, and for intention setting. Rather than going into the details of lunar cycles as I anticipated, the messages on the date pages interpret the effects of the moon on human behaviour and moods, which is something different and unique to this diary. If you are looking for gentle encouragement in 2027 then this might be the right diary for you.
The Northern Hemisphere edition of this diary will be releasing on Amazon in early June 2026.
