Free Readings

Welcome to TABI’s Free Reading service! We have just a few notes for you, before you get started.

First of all, the way your question is phrased is important.

One of TABI’s Aims is to provide readings that help you take charge of your own life. Question that require a Yes or No answer don’t involve you and your choices at all. Instead of asking “Is my relationship good?”, for example, it is better to ask “What can I do to improve my relationship?” or “What do I need to know about my relationship?” This is why, in some cases, your reader will rephrase the question you submit, so the reading you get can be more helpful.

Please note that our readers agree to and follow TABI’s Code of Ethics. This means that readings cannot be given about anyone other than yourself, and questions about other people such as partners, family members, colleagues, etc., will be re-phrased or declined.

And finally, please ask your question, and receive your reading, with an open mind. You may not get the answer you are hoping for, but a surprising reading can be the most helpful kind!

About TABI’s Free Readers

Our Free Readers go through a rigorous Endorsement process. After successfully passing a board evaluation to become a mentee, Free Readers then complete twenty-five real-life readings under the supervision of a mentor. Only then will they become a TABI Endorsed Free Reader. They are experienced, compassionate, and respectful, and you can ask your questions knowing that it will be answered to the best of their abilities.

This is a free service, and all Free Readers are volunteers. Therefore, some readers may use different decks and have different reading styles. It’s all part of the TABI Free Reading experience

Please get in touch with the Free Readings Monitor from the Contact Us page if you would like to ask before you submit your question, and we look forward to reading for you!

Request a Free Reading

Step 1: Create Your Account

TABI’s Free Readings program lets you create your own account, where you can submit a reading request and see your previous readings all in one place. Asking questions is easy, too, as you don’t need to provide your name and email every time you send a question. Your account is private, and TABI will not share your details with anyone else.

To register with our new Free Readings service, you’ll need:

Your name and gender

So our readers know how to address you

Your email address

So we can notify you when your question has been answered

Your date of birth

You must be over the age of 18 to receive a Free Reading from TABI

Once you register you’ll be asked to verify your email address. Simply go to your inbox and click the link on the email we sent you.

Our readers are all volunteers, so please note that readings take five business days, or possibly longer if not enough volunteer readers are available to keep up with high demand.

Congratulations! You are ready to ask your first question!

Step 2: How to Submit Your Question

To ask a question, click the button ‘Request a reading’ and type your question in the box that appears. Once we receive your query, it will be allocated to one of our Free Readers who will respond to it in the Free Reading system itself. Everything is kept in one place, and you will be able to see your past questions and answers as well.

Your Free Reader may respond to your question without marking it as answered. This will happen if they need clarification on your question or if they want more information before answering the question. You’ll then be able to reply to your Free Reader directly by clicking ‘Respond’.

Once you receive your reading, and your question is marked as answered by the Free Reader, you’ll be asked to give feedback on your reading. What resonates with your situation? What is the main point you took from the reading? What did you like the most and what did you struggle to make sense of?

Step 3: You will only be able to submit a new question once you have provided feedback to your previous one.

Due to high demand and so that we can read for as many people as possible, we are also increasing the length of time you have to wait between readings. You may have one reading every 30 days.

Important

Your free Tarot reading will be undertaken by one of TABI’s Tarot Readers. We aim to complete each reading within five to seven days. If you have not heard from your reader within seven days, please contact us at fr.monitor@tabi.org.uk.
We will check that your email address is valid before you can send a reading.

If you have asked an identical question before and it is allocated to the same Reader, then that Reader may feel that someone else should undertake your latest request. So there may be a delay while an alternative Reader is found. We reserve the right to decline a reading request and to withdraw this service at any time.

You must be aged 18 or over to request a reading. So that we can read for as many people as possible, you may only have one reading every 30 days.
A Tarot reading is not a substitute for the consultation of medical, psychological, legal or financial professionals. Your reading request must be submitted to us in English. Where your reading breaches TABI’s Code of Ethics, and you wish to raise an official complaint, please contact TABI’s Chairman at chairman@tabi.org.uk.

Please note: TABI reserves the right to use the readings and feedback for monitoring, training and educational purposes within TABI for the benefit of those Members who are interested. All readings and feedback used for these purposes will have all identifying features (i.e. name, email address) removed prior to such use.
