I am in awe of this deck!
It has some truly divine images and a system that, as an oracle, reaches you in a way like I have never seen before. Why do I love this so much? Please make yourself comfortable, sit back and take a few moments to read about the many reasons I would recommend The Luminous Women Oracle.
What you receive:
A 49 card deck that is gold gilded and arrives with a full colour guidebook and stored in a very sturdy 2 part box.

Who is this deck aimed at?
The Luminous Women Oracle – finding your light and shadow side.
“For women seeking to embrace and live with their duality in balance and harmony” – from the welcome page.
How is the deck arranged?
The deck is split into 7 sections of archetypes and there are 7 cards to each of these. They are as follows:
*Women who are mentally focused
*Women ruled by their heart
*Women who use their innate power
*Women who use their intuition
*Women who use the masculine side of their nature
*Women who use their emotions
*Women who are physically focused
You are guided to find and accept yourself as a whole. Sometimes you might not have a card that you were expecting but isn’t that what we have come to love and embrace about using oracle cards? We need to recognise that life isn’t all sugar and roses, yet be open to a reality of what is deep within us.
How to work with the Oracle – my own summary from the guide book:
Each archetype reveals 5 characteristics: Power, Shadow Side, Balance, Qi and Alchemical Formula. These messages explore the aspects of the gifts we have or what the ego hides. The Balance and Qi offer words of wisdom and suggestions to use for emotions and the energy of your mind, body and soul. The Alchemical Formula is like an affirmation that you could use for journaling or repeating to realise the strength within.
The goal of the Luminous Women Oracle is to set you on a path of harmony, healing and self love. page 14
Art of the deck:
I absolutely love that the images were created using either the illustrators own photography or sourced with royalty free adobe stock and the work of free lance photographers. At the back of the guidebook, pages 240-242 give the names of the model, photographer, makeup, and jewellery used.

The cards are glossy and have a gold frame that surrounds every image. Each captures a variety of women with scenery of light and dark, night and day dreamscapes. You can definitely find yourself being drawn into the cards.

Favourite cards:
The cards that resonated the most were card 13 The Explorer & 48 The Athlete.
The Explorer: You love living life to the full and waste no time pursuing your dreams. You have an insatiable appetite for discovery and know how to create opportunities that you can exploit on a positive level.
The Athlete: You love the beauty of the human body and enjoy examining its curves, seeking perfection in its flesh, muscles and bones. You see the body as a canvas on which each of us can become the artist and paint their self portrait, providing they take good care of it.
Pursue your dreams and look after your body. This doesn’t mean running off and becoming a contortionist in a travelling circus! I think we underestimate ourselves and the possibilities that can bring us joy. I might not be an “athlete” but I know that exercise releases endorphins and there is no better feeling than having a free rush after dancing through the house on a rainy day.

A card for you, dear reader:
The Analyst
You are always busy analysing things. This ability is innate and allows you to understand what is going on around you and what interests you. Your strength: as a seeker, always look to expand your inner library of knowledge. Your shadow: don’t forget that life is full of mystery. Don’t get weighed down if you don’t always understand the mystery of life, remember to have fun! Balance: seek to analyze without having any specific goal or objective in mind, allowing room for the unknown. Using QI: When you analyse matters, do so sparingly and with a lightness of spirit. Alchemical formula: “I live beyond words, giving my senses free rein in order to analyse and grasp what life has in store for me with more understanding and clarity”

Would I recommend this deck?
Without a doubt 100%! It isn’t something you can “know” immediately when you pick up this oracle. There are, of course, people who will want to use it intuitively. However, this deserves your time and energy to really delve into all parts that make this feel special for working on a deep soulful level.
