The Queen of Pentacles turned into the street known as The Cul de Sac.  For some reason it had never been given a “proper” name, so it had just become The Cul de Sac.  Her cousin had lived at No 9 and then moved away in mysterious circumstances after an incident that may, or may not, have involved the Security Services.  Her son and daughter-in-law had lived in a maisonette in the same road when they had been new, and scared, parents.  They, too had moved away, with Baby and her younger brother.  Thoughts of moving house caused her to look further along.  “Oh, I didn’t know they were moving, they didn’t say anything.  We’ve been good neighbours for a long time, it would have been nice if …….”  The Queen stopped.  To read the full tale, please log into the Forum.
