How to ask a question

To ask a question, click the button and type your question in the box. Once we receive your query, it will be allocated to one of our Free Readers who will respond to it in the Free Reading system itself (no more back and forth of emails!). Everything is now in one place, and you will be able to see your past questions and answers as well.

Your Free Reader may respond to your question without marking it as answered. This will happen if they need clarification on your question or if they want more information before answering the question. You’ll then be able to reply to your Free Reader directly by clicking respond.

Once you receive your reading and your question is marked as answered by the Free Reader, you’ll be asked to give feedback on your reading. What resonates with your situation? What is the main point you took from the reading? What did you like the most and what did you struggle to make sense of?

You will only be able to submit a new question once you have provided feedback to your previous one.

Due to high demand and so that we can read for as many people as possible, we are also increasing the length of time you have to wait between readings. You may have one reading every 30 days.

important

Please read all the notes below BEFORE you submit your reading request.

Your free Tarot reading will be undertaken by one of TABI’s Tarot Readers. We aim to complete each reading within five to seven days. If you have not heard from your reader within seven days, please contact us at fr.monitor@tabi.org.uk.

We will check that your email address is valid before you can send a reading.

If you have asked an identical question before and it is allocated to the same Reader, then that Reader may feel that someone else should undertake your latest request. So there may be a delay while an alternative Reader is found. We reserve the right to decline a reading request and to withdraw this service at any time.

You must be aged 18 or over to request a reading. So that we can read for as many people as possible, you may only have one reading every 30 days.

A Tarot reading is not a substitute for the consultation of medical, psychological, legal or financial professionals. Your reading request must be submitted to us in English. Where your reading breaches TABI’s Code of Ethics, and you wish to raise an official complaint, please contact TABI’s Chairman at chairman@tabi.org.uk.

Please note: TABI reserves the right to use the readings and feedback for monitoring, training and educational purposes within TABI for the benefit of those Members who are interested. All readings and feedback used for these purposes will have all identifying features (i.e. name, email address) removed prior to such use.

Asking Your Question

The old system has now been discontinued. Any outstanding questions sent will still be fulfilled within the usual deadlines, but any new questions will need to be submitted using the new system.

We want to give you a reading that can help you take charge of your own life and make your own decisions. Questions that require a “Yes” or “No” answer do not offer you the option to fully engage with your situation in the best possible way.

For example, asking “Is my relationship good?” is not designed to give you any positive advice for the future. Instead, it is better to ask “What can I do to improve my relationship?” or “What do I need to know about my relationship?”

Before you ask any question, ask yourself if you really want to know the answer. If you ask about your relationship and the answer points towards your relationship not being good, are you prepared to deal with that information?

Please also ask your question with an open mind. You may not get the answer you are hoping for, but a surprising reading can be the most helpful kind! All of our readers agree to TABI’s system of ethics, and for that reason they may not be able to answer your question exactly as you pose it. For example, readings cannot be given about anyone other than yourself, and questions about other people such as partners, family members, colleagues, etc., will be re-phrased or declined.

Please let us know if you have any questions you would like to ask before you submit your question, and we look forward to reading for you!

TABI Free Readers

Our Free Readers go through a rigorous endorsement process where they must first pass a board evaluation to become mentees, and then complete 25 readings under the supervision of a mentor. Only then will they become a TABI Endorsed Free Reader. They are experienced and professional and you can ask your questions with peace of mind that it will be answered to the best of their abilities.

This is also a free service, and all Free Readers do so voluntarily. Therefore, some readers may use different decks and have different reading styles. It’s all part of the TABI Free Reading experience. If you want to consult with one reader in particular, you can find their individual professional listings information on our Professional Listings page, with information on how to contact them to ask about the services they provide.
