What happens when you add all your birth digits together? You get a number between 1 and 9 that is unique to you. This is your life path or your soul code, and inside this book is a guide to yourself and relationships, with all the possible combinations you could imagine! Within this 139 page book you will discover how “the universe speaks [to us] through our Divine DNA”. Dr Carmen Harra is an intuitive psychologist and author with over 30 years experience helping thousands of people gain insights into their everyday lives and relationships using this very unique code. There are 13 chapters that come together to help you find out how to calculate your soul code, that of your partner, and how to bring this together.
Dr Carmen begins telling us her excitement at calculating her daughter’s birth year, and how these numbers would equate to a life path number – I will explain more about this shortly. She goes on to talk about how as a little girl, she was, in her words, “captivated by surreal matters even before I understood them” and how “I was subconsciously aware of a reality beyond the one I could experience with my five senses”. Then she continues to explain how we have a Divine DNA: this being a code that makes up our personality, what makes us strong or where our weaknesses are, and what talents we might have, and much more. Combining this with numerology can reveal the pattern and path we are on through this life, but to also bear in mind that we have free will, so if we don’t like what our numerology says we have every right to change it.
So, what is our soul code? It is the number we are born with, but also the numbers we are missing. It is a puzzle, perhaps, that might explain certain scenarios or elements of our lives. In other words, asking the question, “is this really the reason behind my thinking or the actions I take?”
The first chapter covers all the life path numbers from 1-9, and their life cycles from which we get four great pinnacles or stages of life. These are as follows:
Pinnacle 1 from birth to approx 30 where we soul search and question our existence.
Pinnacle 2 from 30 to 39, finding social responsibility.
Pinnacle 3 from 40 to 49 where we come into our personal power and achieve financial stability.
Pinnacle 4 from age 50 onwards through the next 30 years, a time to maintain work/leisure balance when caring for others and yourself.
In chapter 2 – Choosing to Vibrate Higher, we get a sense of what it is like to be human, the emotions we have, and how this impacts our archetype. We can’t change our numbers but we can definitely use our mindset to turn a negative into a positive. At the end of this chapter, there are 50 affirmations for higher vibrations. These include:
I am in control of my life; I am master over my own circumstances.
I am limitless; my soul is eternal and my potential is infinite.
In chapter 3, we discover different types of relationships and how they work together. Dr Carmen discusses 7 types of love relationships, the most likely combination of personal year, and who is most likely to have a relationship of that nature with whom. These types are: transitory, toxic, stagnant, compromise, complimentary, karmic and soul mate.
Chapters 4 to 12 go into great detail about our individual life path number, and the compatibility with all other numbers. These chapters are very well put together, and Dr Carmen has used her 30 years experience of guidance to give concise descriptions that will make readers go “ah-ha!”, especially in recognition of traits, strengths and weaknesses of past relationships.
By the time we get to chapter 13, Free Will in Fated Relationships, there has been a lot to take in regarding who we might or might not want to get to know better, based on numerology. In saying that here, we realise that we are absolutely free to choose the people we get to know regardless of all that has been discussed.
There is, as Dr Carmen mentions, the 3 C’s of all good relationships:
Compatibility
Commitment
Compromise
Without these, the bonds of a relationship are easily broken. Despite your numbers the above virtues create a durable bond. There are many steps we could all take to ensure our relationships are meaningful and last the tests of time. There is an appendix that gives a quick summary to help you if you want a quick reference to life paths and personal years. Finally, as for the book’s design, it has a very pleasing, slightly embossed cover, and is slim enough for general portability.
Recommended for anyone who has prior understanding of numerology. It may be slightly more advanced if you aren’t familiar with life path numbers, but it would be an excellent place to start your journey.
