Earth Magick by Cheralyn Darcey is a stunning grimoire of nature spells. The author invites us to step into the botanical realm with 180 spells that draw from the healing power and ancient energy of plants. The book is so beautifully designed, it would make a very special addition to anyone’s magickal library. Not only does it look and feel beautiful but the depth of information of spellcasting and the magickal qualities of plants is very impressive.

Earth Magick is divided into the sections of Flower Spells, Herb Spells and Tree Spells. Each spell is detailed and well crafted, yet concise and simple to perform, making this an excellent resource for both complete beginners new to spellcasting or seasoned witches who want to add to their grimoire collection.

Earth Magick will take your plant spells to the next level, with its beautifully crafted wording, offerings and comprehensive knowledge and wisdom behind the structure of each spell.

Cheralyn Darcy is a botanical alchemist, organic gardener and artist, and their passion for nature really shines in this book. Cheralyn covers the areas of love and relationships, success and career, money, health, protection, divination, home, family, pets, balance, purpose, earth, life and more in this grimoire. Each spell is written with detailed instructions and explanations of magickal correspondences, historical context, timing, and suggestions for plant alternatives if you have difficulty sourcing any items.

The artwork is gorgeous, with botanical drawings throughout, textured paper, and each section denoted by the most beautiful designs, reminiscent of art nouveau decorative detailing. Every design detail is as magickal as the content itself.

Importantly, Cheralyn gives guidance on how to harvest ingredients with reverence to plants without causing harm, including a chapter on how to live in magickal alignment with plants and to understand and use them respectfully, also including tips on how to grow your own magickal garden.

The author also includes a section on How to Create your own Spells, with reference to magickal correspondences, colour magick, timing, incorporating crystals and a very handy Glossary of Botanical Meanings and uses for quick reference.

Earth Magick draws on the connection between humans and nature as allies for our magickal practice. The author shares history, lore and wisdom, guiding us to integrate and resonate with the magickal properties of plants to harness their energies with reverence and respect in an ethical manner.

Earth Magick is an exceptional magickal grimoire for spellcasting, timing, tools and fundamentals, and exploring the magickal qualities and healing power of plants as a magickal partner. I can highly recommend this book for your magickal library, it’s a wonderful resource.
