V&A Event
Beckie Billingham is the Assistant Curator of Prints at the V&A. Having worked in a variety of roles at the museum since 2019, Beckie has contributed to projects and displays such as the BBC’s Secrets of the Museum, the V&A Illustration Awards, Lucian Freud’s Etchings: A Creative Collaboration, Print and Prejudice: Women Printmakers 1700 to 1930, and The Artist’s Sketchbook, as well as online content including Revolutionary Design: Ospaaal and the Art of the Poster, An introduction to Women Printmakers, and, of course, Unboxing Tarot Through the Ages and A History of Tarot. Most recently Beckie curated the display Lasting Impressions: Women Printmakers 1900-Now at V&A South Kensington. Alongside her work as a curator, Beckie is currently studying for a masters in printmaking at the Royal College of Art.
Josephine Nardecchia is an independent researcher, curator and art historian. She previously worked as an Assistant Curator at the V&A across disciplines and materials such as paintings, drawings, prints, architecture, design and metalwork.
She has contributed to a variety of projects including The Artist’s Sketchbooks publication, the V&A Illustrations Awards 2024 display, as well as online content such as Unboxing Tarot Through the Ages and A History of Tarot. She is currently researching site-specific performance and architecture in Umbria, Italy.
