If there was ever a time when humanity could benefit from positive divine masculine role models, surely it is now. This 44 card oracle deck comes in a hardcover box with a 176 page guidebook, and seeks to guide us to heal and integrate masculine energy in positive ways. Visually, it has a subtle yet soft masculine aesthetic with deep olive greens and grounded earthy colours on the box, card backs and guidebook.
The deck has a matt laminate finish, which I love on cards, making them easy to shuffle, hardwearing, and reduces glare. They are large, at 85mm x 140mm, I have to shuffle lengthways for them to fit my hands but they shuffle well, due to the card stock and finish.
The artwork by Cecilia G.F is lovely, some of these cards are absolutely stunning. Cecilia is a self taught illustrator, and you can see the depths of mythology she is drawing inspiration from. I love the gentle strength of the rich colour palette, her use of light and dark, and the way she captures the environment, elements and symbolism. To the eye, these cards are very engaging.
The Divine Masculine Healing Oracle acknowledges the trauma that stems from violence and disconnection to all aspects of the self, including toxic masculinity that has evolved through generational conditioning. While systemic patriarchal society values men’s effort and time more than women’s, there is a burden to the masculine that comes with the patriarchal societal structure, one of disconnection, alienation and misalignment.
As we seek to embrace the gamut of non binary masculinity this oracle honors the phases and degrees of masculinity and femininity that we all have within us, offering guidance to working with the polarity for balance and integration. The cards were designed with the intention to use in conjunction with the Goddess Within Oracle.
The booklet is substantial, offering context, tips on connecting and reading with the Oracle, interpretation and spreads. The spreads are designed with reconnection to the divine masculine – the lingam spread, divine masculine healing spread, reconnection spread, and relationship integration spread, are each designed with inclusivity in mind.
The rest of the guidebook focuses on the card meanings, each with a shorter, quick glance interpretation, the archetypal mythology and a longer interpretation of the message the archetype offers.
The Divine Masculine Healing Oracle is a beautiful deck that offers much needed healing and reconnection at a time when we are seeing an increase in the toxic effects of disconnection, and the darker side of patriarchal society. Many lost souls are seeking positive masculine role models, and finding reconnection, healing and integration will benefit all of humanity and consciousness.
